About the activity:
Nuno is a technique that uses small amounts of wool that are layered on existing fabric such as silk or cotton. ‘During the felting process the wool fibres migrate through the weave of the cloth and entangle, pulling the cloth along with them as they shrink. This can cause a ruching effect; however, the cloth is gathered up in all directions therefore not forming true pleats and making a bubble effect on the fabric. All materials will be supplied. This is a half day course: 1pm – 5pm Maximum: 4 people per class Suitable for people with a basic knowledge of felt making.
