48 British pounds

About the activity:

Felt making is a craft or skill that dates back many thousands of years. By matting together wisps of sheep wool with soap and warm water, anything can be made from a finely draping garment or shawl to a more robust fabric to make bags, hats, boots, bowls and even homes that people live in known as yurts. On the more creative or artistic use of this textile wall hangings, felt sculptures, pots and so much more can be made from this versatile and wonderful natural fibre. All materials will be supplied. This is a half day course: 1pm – 5pm Suitable for complete beginners Maximum: 4 people per class
